Dr. Daniel Buchen is a board certified dermatologist. After receiving awards as an undergraduate in neuroscience, he attended the SUNY Health Science Center in Brooklyn where he obtained his medical degree with honors. He completed a medical internship at Mt. Sinai Hospital and he completed a dermatology residency at the University of Southern California where he had extensive training in hair transplantation, liposuction, laser surgery and other cosmetic procedures from cosmetic surgeons from all over the United States. He is now in private practice at Staten Island Physician Practice and is on the dermatology faculty at Mt. Sinai Hospital. He has been named as a Fellow of the American Society of MOHS Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Buchen’s latest book Skin Flaps in Facial Surgery (publisher; McGraw-Hill Professional). The material in his new book is drawn from his lectures, seminars, and teaching sessions with residents. |
